SAY CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah! Sloan has two front teeth, a few bottom ones and we can feel about 3 or 4 more that are about to break thru any day. Today, she was literally using QMan's pretend saw to hit her tooth, then loved the sound, so she continued to proceed and belly laugh.

The past to weeks she has made several milestones with crawling like crazy, pulling up on everything possible and even starting to want to walk while holding our hands. I think her world is changing very quickly around her and we are thrilled! She has still continued to be so happy and loves playing with all her brother's boy toys. I cannot figure out which one is her favorite...the sounding motorcycle or the already eaten NERF football?

Sloan continues to add "JOY" to our lives everyday!!

March 28....

How could I forget?

Well it was a typical Saturday night, went over to some friends house with the kids, ate yummy pizza, watched the Mizzou tigers play a good hard game and then home by about 9:00 to snuggle them in bed. As I was reading to Sloan and then giving her a bottle, I heard on the radio "in this very room" which was sung at our wedding. ( I have included the song below as I have always loved the lyrics) As I stared into her almost closed eyes to say I love you, tears began to roll down my cheeks. The song reminded me....of March 28th....the day that Aaron and I started to date. March 28th, 1997 to be exact! Twelve years ago! I begin to think about that special day, a day I married my best friend, my partner, my husband!

If we wouldn't have made this day official, these amazing miracles would not have been in our lives, nor would I be complete! I am so thankful for everyday on this earth as it is a wonderful journey....God is Good!

( the story continues)  I left Sloan in her bed, went downstairs and said to Aaron, "Do you know what today is?" He said, "March 28th a special day, and left it at that!"
WOW!  Times have changed he used to flatter me with gifts, love and action ( just kidding) on special days like this.   I guess I will wait for our Anniversary in May????
No, No No there is nothing I need to wait for, no materialistic item is needed as a reminder... I have all I need! THEM!  Our little foursome!

In This Very Room Words and Music by Ron Harris
Matthew 28:20" ... and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."

In this very room there's quite enough love for one like me,And in this very room there's quite enough joy for one like me,And there's quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom,For Jesus, Lord Jesus ... is in this very room.
And in this very room there's quite enough love for all of us,And in this very room there's quite enough joy for all of us,And there's quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom,For Jesus, Lord Jesus ... is in this very room.
In this very room there's quite enough love for all the world,And in this very room there's quite enough joy for all the world,And there's quite enough hope and quite enough power to chase away any gloom,For Jesus, Lord Jesus ... is in this very room.

St Patty's Day!

The Shamrock reads, "The Sullivan Family Goes Green"

This was Sloan's first and Qman's Second Annual St Patty's Day Parade.

With the name Sullivan, we thought we had to celebrate some how! Here are some pics with beads and all.

Hope you were able to drink some GREEN Beer for me....Aunt Jodi!

Oh what a night.....

I felt this song just pop in my head.....after the great dancing with all the Delta Gamma Girls at Mizzou a couple weekends ago!

It was my sorority's 100 year anniversary and several of our pledge class planned to attend since last year. Some of us girls hadn't seen each other since school because of distance, masters degrees or careers that just haven't allowed the time, which was 10 years ago...OMG...we are old!!!

Even though we don't talk everyday it still felt like we picked up right where we left off; that's what is great about good friends, right? There was a lot of reminiscing going on.....from.....16 of us living in apartment complexes next to one another our senior year, eating lucky charms at all hours of the day and night, singing cheesy songs on the lawn every 10 minutes for practically 24 hours straight during rush week and sleeping in until about 1 pm on weekends and weekdays for that matter. The conversations have changed from what used to be who did you kiss last night and the night before? to... Tell me how you get that rash off your baby's a--? I just have to laugh.

It was an amazing weekend. The stories could go on and on, it was great to reconnect and cherish those memories. However, we all commented that we won't change our lives for anything now. We are so lucky with health, love and happiness. One thing hasn't changed and that's how proud I am to call all these girls my best friends....MY SISTAS!!!!!

Just a little song for memory sake, but it's true!

Mm-mm, my sisters Mmm my sisters
couldn't get a long without you now
I got along without you before I met you
but I sure couldn't do it now

I came to MU just to find
the girls who really are my kind
And now I know I found the best
DG's better than all the rest

( I think we thought we were pretty cool,....better than all the rest... I guess it's a sorority thing)

It's was QMAN's turn

to pray at dinner tonight!  It goes exactly like this..

Dear LORD, thank you so much for the sun and the day, thank you for my peaches, for Sloan, for my ravioli, thank you for the meat, oh I didn't get any meat, Dad can you get me some meat, NO I don't want any meat....thank you for my mom, for school and my friends and our smiles.
AMEN.

I don't know if you just had to be here...but, oh he cracks us up!

Random Thoughts by:

QUINTON SULLIVAN

He asks me if we could set up a lemonade stand this summer, I asked him how much we should charge, he says, $55 dollars... WOW!  That's some great lemonade!

Aaron's out of town last week and he says, I get to play "the dad"...  I get to stay up late, take out the trash and kiss you a lot mom!

Aaron and QMAN were putting his train table back together today ....and Aaron starts to describe what he was doing and what he plans to do next.   Quinton proceeds to say, "I concur"    Where did he learn this we asked?  He said Obie One says this to Princess Leia in a Star Wars Game. Ok,  these are just a few...more to follow

Sloan's Nighttime....

Well, she is just so sweet, how can we say no? Papa recently made Sloan her bookcase. (He is so thoughtful, that it's been tradition for all
the grand kids). Ever since the night we have put it in her room, she has noticed it being there. Well, I guess that would be normal for anyone, but Aaron and I just cannot get over the fact that she is so in tune to her surroundings. Her nighttime routine used to be books, bottle, bed! No problem....not so much anymore!

She is WIDE awake after the bottle....flips around from her oh so comfortable position in my arms and demands MORE Books! What I mean by demands is she sits up, smiles and points directly at the bookshelf. She is not satisfied until 2-3 more books are read. Then we have to walk back over to her shelf and place them back to their specific place....then she's content!....oh did I mention she LOVES it when her daddy puts her to bed too! I can see her starting to be a daddy's girl already and who knows if he'll ever be able to say no!

She has grown up sooooooooooooo fast, so I am just living in the moment.....my favorite moment of the day....the nighttime routine, or should I say "her" nighttime routine!

A night of......

SuMO wrestling... What a sight... and I had to get pics!!!!  I don't know who had more fun, Aaron or Quinton?  Sloan and I were the cheerleaders on the sideline.  A pillow comforted all the bumps along the way!  We've been inside for too long so we're looking forward to the springlike weather coming our way!
