Fall Fun!!!

We headed to Tanner's pumpkin, apple patch this past weekend and the kiddos had a wonderful time. Well we did too, just seeing them happy! They ran thru the hay maze, rode on a yellow school bus, played miniature golf, picked some pumpkins, fed the animals and ate cider donuts....YummY!!!!!! What more could a kid ask for?

They're growing to love each other more and more by the day. Q has definitely taken on the BIG Bro role and Sloan loves to follow. This was a great start to an awesome season....Happy Fall!

Another Pumpkin Fest!

Again this year, we had a memorable time at the PF. We were able to make two visits which was nice and Q was thrilled, because this year his height allowed him to be able to ride even MORE rides than last!!!! The bumper cars, the slide and the TORNADO, which he referred to as the Thunderstorm, was his favorite, but not Mommy's. I felt as if I might vomit all over him and the O'Sullys when we continued spinning and spinning and spinning. I hadn't felt like that since back in college, if you know what I mean!

Saturday, the kiddos and I were able to enjoy the parade with Papa and our cousins, Maggie and Max. Sloan sat on Aunt Traci's lap the entire time and loved every minute of it! She was into the bands and the crazy costumes. I think her face says it all!

We sure love the tradition in Morton and look forward to it ever single year!!!!!!

Preschool starts again....

Q started preschool yesterday and boy was he excited! All his friends from "cool school" were back and so was Mrs Gilbert, his favorite teacher ever!!!!

Our baby boy is growing up. He will be going every day of the week as well as to a session of Lunch Bunch just like he did last year. It's unbelievable how much this classroom allows the children to grow.... there are so many different stations that expand the imagination. (Sloan had a fun at the open house too) Today, he said they talked about combining different colors to make new ones, discussed a little about the IL river and practiced writing his name. I love to hear him talk and explain the different lessons of the day, it's amazing!

On a side note: I picked him up and told him I had a surprise waiting (just another Star wars shirt).....and his comment was, "Mom, do you know that a shirt is not that great of a surprise for a kid like me." Well, ok I guess I learned my lesson, I will do better next time. Come on...he never used to be too picky, a lollipop or an ink pen would do just fine.

Anyway, it's a great new year of Jack and Jill Preschool that begins with Q picking out his clothes the night before and dressing himself each morning.....I think he woke up at 6:45 am and was raring to go the first day! I believe he's loving it and that makes mom and dad so happy!

and the Birthday continues.....

We took a stroll up to Sullivan's, oh so fitting, for some yummy grub on such a beautiful night and then Aaron and I had a special lunch date to take Q to his favorite restaurant, BW3's for what...oh yeah....Mac and Cheese, Sprite and some old school video games? Mac and Cheese at BW3's...ok. It's your birthday!

I guess he got what he wished for......the parties to continue! Happy 4th Birthday Quinton! We love you!

Down on the Farm....

Quinton turned 4 on Sept 1st...so over the weekend we had the birthday party at a local farm park! I think all the kids and grown ups had a good time. Q counted down the days until the PARTY day arrived and actually continued to tell Aaron and I that most children have two parties one to get ready for the other one! Are you kidding me? We had to laugh as he sometimes he is just so creative! Anyway, Q was thrilled, all our friends and family were able to join in the fun! Thanks to CC and DD for surprising him as well as the Hefley's for making the drive all the way from Chi Town just for the day! Our son is growing up!

We love you all.....thanks again for the awesome gifts, you are too generous! Sorry for all the pics there were just too many to choose from!
