St Jude Donation

This is the letter we sent out to everyone asking for donations!

Dear Family and Friends,

On Saturday, August 1, 2009 Aaron and I will be running in the second annual Washington to Peoria St. Jude Run. This is a 24.1 mile relay-style event, which is one of the nineteen relays from around Illinois, along with teams originating in Memphis, TN. These runs mark the start of the St. Jude Telethon on August 1^st as well. We will be running to raise money to help children in their battle against cancer and writing in hopes that you will support this awesome cause.

Each runner on our team is encouraged to raise a minimum of $500 to participate in the run. All the administrative personnel and costs to organize the running event are covered by volunteers and donations from local businesses, and as a result, 100% of every dollar donated goes to the St. Jude Hospitals.
